It was one of those moments where I was having a creative block and had no idea what to create. Sitting on my desk and fidgeting with the playing cards was when a crazy idea struck me - How about I redesign the deck?
The first suite of hearts was designed to help me with my creative block. They are designed based on my favourite junk food. They all follow a simple illustration with a splash of colour.
When I started out with the suite of the club, I knew it had to be slightly different, so with the theme of 'At the club♣', they represent some of the drinks that are served at the club (duh!), bars...
So here's the suite with the explanation of drinks:
Ace of Clubs:
1♣ (Ace) - Single ingredient
represented by BEER
Two of Clubs:
2♣ - Two ingredients
represented by GIN AND TONIC
The classic cocktail has Indo-Anglo origins and remarkable versatility. Gin and Tonics are equally at home at summer picnics, après ski lodges, boozy brunches, or alfresco happy hours.
Three of Clubs:
3♣ - Three ingredients
represented by CRANBERRY ORANGE MIMOSA BELLINI
Perfect for brunch or a cocktail party, this fruity take on the mimosa calls for cranberry juice, orange juice, and champagne or Prosecco.

Four of Clubs:
4♣ - Four ingredients
represented by COSMOPOLITAN
A Cosmopolitan Drink is perfect when you want to serve a really classy cocktail with some sweetness and holiday color to it! Triple sec orange liqueur, shaken not stirred with cranberry juice, fresh lime and vodka… ah, what could be better?
Five of Clubs:
5♣ - Five ingredients
represented by CLASSIC MOJITO
Made with just five ingredients, a sweet and zesty classic mojito will almost transport you to Havana. Start with muddled mint and sugar, then add fresh lime juice, rum, and a splash of club soda.

Six of Clubs:
6♣ - Six ingredients
represented by BLUE LAGOON COCKTAIL
This is a very colorful and refreshing drink that can make any party interesting. It has sweet-sour to taste and the sprite in it adds to the flavour with a hint of vodka or rum, based on your taste.
Seven of Clubs:
7♣ - Seven ingredients
represented by MERMAID MAGIC JULEP
Mixed with kiwifruit, lime juice and then muddled with some mint (& a dash of mint liqueur)...followed by colour-changing vodka & club soda and crushed ice. It transitions from green at the bottom to pink, purple and blue at the top!
Eight of Clubs:
8♣ - Eight ingredients
represented by BLOODY MARY
Bloody Marys are a polarizing cocktail, that is made with basic ingredients but tastes fresh, spicy and complex all at once.
Nine of Clubs:
9♣ - Nine ingredients
represented by ZOMBIE
Named at a time when a lot of booze went into this drink, this version is lighter with two kinds of rum rounded off by the tropical fruit flavours.
Ten of Clubs:
10♣ - Ten ingredients
represented by MONSTROUS MILK PUNCH
Milk punch, one of the more unusual, though popular, Victorian winter drinks is creamy without being cloying. The technique used to make this seems counter-intuitive; have faith, as the result is beguiling and moreish.
Jack of Clubs:
J♣ - Popular Jack Daniel's Drink
represented by LYNCHBURG LEMONADE
The Lynchburg Lemonade is named after Lynchburg, Tennessee, the hometown of the Jack Daniel's Distillery. It is one of the most popular mixed drinks and the Tennessee whiskey's signature cocktail. It's a very easy and perfect for a lazy summer afternoon or a backyard barbecue.
Queen of Clubs:
Q♣ - Queens
represented by QUEENS COCKTAILS
Gin based with vermouth's bittersweet wine notes and pineapple tropical fruitiness. A 'perfectly' fruity Martini that's fit for a Queen. One of the classic cocktails named after New York city's five boroughs, this recipe is adapted from Harry Craddock's 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book
King of Clubs:
K♣ - The KING
represented by THE KING COCKTAIL
The King is made with Crown Royal, "the unofficial whisky of Texas". The black lime powder used in the syrup is sour and citrusy, with a subtle fermented flavour; sometimes called Omani
